Learning Specialists

Our Lady of Grace offers on-site resource teachers to support students with accommodation plans and ISP’s.

Our Learning Specialists:

  • Serve as the liaison to Edina’s special education resources for our students on Individualized Service Plans (ISP’s),

  • Coordinate support for students who qualify for accommodation plans in the classroom and on standardized tests,

  • Monitor adherence to IEP and 504 Plans,

  • Lead staff development in the area of learning disabilities,

  • Help teachers with specific classroom strategies

Reading Specialist and Coach

OLG provides a reading coach for our Kindergarten - 3rd Grade students needing Tier 3 intervention to help them reach grade level reading expectations. Our coach supports classroom instruction and student interventions.

Guidance & Counseling Services

OLG has partnered with Phoenix School Counseling for more than 20 years providing support to families whose students demonstrate social, emotional, behavioral, and learning needs. Dr. Jules Nolan and Mrs. Victoria Stein support our students and families through direct service, consultation, and assessment.

Dr. Jules Nolan

Dr. Jules Nolan is a Licensed Psychologist and Nationally Certified School Psychologist who is available to meet with parents and Teachers for any issue affecting families and children. She also conducts assessments that help parents and School staff better serve the students at OLG. Parenting articles are also available at www.phoenixschoolcounseling.com. All services of Mrs. Stein and Dr. Nolan are provided free of charge to families at OLG. Mrs. Victoria Stein

Mrs. Victoria Stein, our Licensed School Counselor, works with students 1:1 and in groups to support development of social and emotional learning skills.  This includes subjects like friendship, self-regulation, mindfulness, coping skills, family change, and emotional management.  She works as an advocate for all students and helps them to develop their own self-advocacy skills.
