Mr. Balko came to OLG from Wayzata West Middle School, where he taught 8th grade communications for five years. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in English from Saint John’s University and his Master’s in Education in Curriculum and Instruction from American College of Education. In addition to teaching Mr. Balko has been involved in various clubs and supervisory positions and served as a 7th & 8th Grade catechist, lector, parish council member and Eucharistic minister at his local parish. Mr. Balko loves combining his passion for classroom teaching with living out his Catholic faith at OLG!
