Education for the Digital World
Digital Literacy.
Creative Collaboration.
Inventive Thinking.
Our children need these skills to succeed as lifelong learners in our digital world. Our Lady of Grace Catholic School engages students with 21st-century teaching methods and real-world experiences to actively develop these abilities, in the context of good digital citizenship. We work with parents to guide students’ use of technology and all it can offer to stimulate more effective learning and develop their technical proficiency.
Students learn coding and as they advance grade levels, they are given opportunities to work on drones, Lego robots and 3-D printers.
K - 5th Grade Technology
Our K-5 students enjoy 1:1 access to mobile computer carts and iPads in the classroom. Each elementary classroom is also equipped with interactive white boards, enabling teachers to bring lessons to life electronically every day.
Curricular integration builds knowledge and skills as students become proficient in multiple platforms and software.
Middle School Technology
OLG Middle School uses up-to-date technology, where each Middle School student has a dedicated MacBook Air laptop computer for use at home and school. These laptops put innovative educational opportunities at their fingertips. Students not only learn advanced technology skills, as laptops are fully integrated into the curriculum, they also learn significant responsibility in managing these valuable tools.
Interactive white boards in every Middle School classroom further integrate teaching, technology and curriculum, creating one of the most technologically advance schools in the state.
