Our Lady of Grace School is a Catholic parish school, a critical part of the mission of OLG Parish.  Our school operates on a model of shared leadership and collaboration, focused on improving student performance. 


Fr. FinneganFather Kevin Finnegan, Pastor

As Pastor, Fr. Kevin is the spiritual leader of our parish and school, and is responsible for implementing the parish mission.  Fr. Kevin is originally from the Chicago area.  He was educated at St. John Vianney College Seminary at the University of St. Thomas, and spent many years in youth development including serving in National Evangelization Teams (NET) and St. Paul's Outreach, a national Catholic student movement.  He attended St. Paul Seminary and was ordained in 1996.  His years as a parish priest have included postions at St. Edward Catholic Church in Bloomington, several parishes in Faribault, and serving as Chaplain at the state prison and at the Society of St. Vincent de Paul. 

 
Mrs. Maureen Trenary, Principal

Mrs. Maureen Trenary has been an educator in the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis since 1974. She has spent the majority of her career at Our Lady of Grace Catholic School. She taught Middle School between 1982-1988, and returned to become principal in 1991. In 2002, she was awarded the NCEA Distinguished Principal Award (National Catholic Educational Association). She has a BA degree from the College of St. Teresa, Winona, MN and a Master's degree in Education and an Education Specialist degree in Administration from the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul, MN. 

As Principal of OLG School, Mrs. Trenary is our instructional leader, providing spiritual and academic leadership for the day-to-day administration of the school, supported by two assistant principals.  Under Mrs. Trenary's leadership, OLG's supervisory model includes frequent classroom walkthroughs, formal observations and annual teacher reviews, all of which provide for reflection on instructional practices, dialogue and insights into strategies for improved student learning. 

Mrs. Rikki Mortl, Assistant Principal

Mrs. Rikki Mortl has been teaching at OLG since 2005.  She taught 7th & 8th grade Science before becoming our STEM Director for K-8 and Learning Specialist for Grades 5-8.  Mrs. Mortl has a BA in Elementary Education with a minor in Science from Viterbo University and a Master's Degree in Education from St. Mary's University.  Mrs. Mortl is currently working on her Principal Licensure from Viterbo University.

 

Mr. Adam Groebner, Director of Advancement

Mr. Adam Groebner began teaching in Catholic schools in 2006. Prior to his current role, he served OLG as the assistant principal for four years. From 2007-2010, he was also a part of the Middle School team at OLG teaching Spanish and 6th grade religion. Mr. Groebner also spent two years teaching high school Spanish at Benilde-St. Margaret's School. Mr. Groebner has a BA from the University of St. Thomas in Spanish and International Studies. In 2005, he graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Master of Education degree and in 2014 he earned his Master of Educational Leadership from Notre Dame.  He has also holds a MN Administrator License.
